Loftiss says “Our Jamaica Trip”

Now that Fall is in full swing I am reminiscing about my lovely trip to Jamaica at the end of August into September. The first half of the trip was dedicated to a friend’s wedding while the second half was for my birthday. After the wedding festivities concluded in Ocho Rios, we traveled back to Montego Bay to the gorgeous Riu Palace. Jay and I have been fans of this hotel for years having staying at the lovely resort in Aruba. I have to say the second part of the trip was pure heaven.

Between the 3 different pools to choose from and the swim up bars- why do you ever need to leave?!?! I camped most of the day at the pool relaxing and enjoying the breeze from the ocean, the Caribbean sun and interacting with the playful staff. We never wanted for anything especially good food! We had the most spacious room with a jacuzzi on the balcony where we spent quality time relaxing and drinking bubbly every night.

The final night we had a moonlight dinner on the beach. The food, service, music, and atmosphere was just perfect. Jay and I had a beautiful time to reconnect before heading home the next day. I must say we had a beautiful time at the Riu and I would highly recommend you to go.
