THE DAY HAS COME!!!! My final post for Awards Season! I had to push back my blog of New York Fashion Trends because I needed to fully focus on Hollywood’s A List! I am positive I will differ from some of you on looks. As always, I do not read any weekly magazines or Best/Worst Dressed Lists until I write my reviews. I never want to be swayed by the media. These are authentically, 100% my style opinions . Ok let’s do this friends…..

I COULDN’T LOVE THIS LOOK MORE.
I would have worn this gown down the aisle at my wedding. Her gowns are notorious for fitting flawlessly added with the slick back, simple hair and mega earrings. Yum.

Margot, why are you so hawt? I mean….it’s insane. I am normally not a fan of black dresses but I love me some deep V with a red lip! The necklace is the featured player in this look. Deep parted hair. Perfect.

I’m gonna say it. I do not like this dress. Julianne nailed every red carpet this season and I knowwwwwww it was a custom dress from Chanel, actually Karl Lagerfeld himself, but I am not a fan. It makes her waist look thick and the drop waist is just confusing. I believe this dress would have worked on Lupita or Keira Knightly. I sometimes feel when an Oscar nominee reallllllly thinks they are gonna win, they play it safe so it will do down in history as classy (remember Cher and her headdress.)
Bleh, I would have love to have seen her in that emerald-green color that is perfection on her.

The statement necklace is BACK. We haven’t seen this look on the red carpet in the past few seasons.
*STYLE TIP: Ladies, a statement necklace is the easiest thing to glam up a simple black dress. Pile up on accessories and you can wear that LBD over and over again.

The back of the dress is art. Of course, only a thin super model could sell this dress like she does.
***
This dress is confusing but I like it. It’s very ‘Oh I just threw this on and looked fabulous’ kinda dress. It has a very french feel which explains why a french actress looked so lovely in it.
***
Well well well…I guess we aren’t in ‘Step It Up’ anymore. Yes sister.
Sophistication looks good on you.
***
Ok- I truly can’t get past the hair. The color is sooooo wrong that this is all I see every time I look at Rita Ora. I applaud the blonde pixie cut but I wish the color was more warm with low lights to match her skin more.
***
EDGY!!!!! Look at you!
Naomi, I love the bandeau top underneath showing a low back. This look is fresh and I love it.
***
I am so mesmerized by Lady Gaga’s performance that I still tear up thinking about it. What an epic moment for her! This dress is a statement and you know what…I dig it. I The gloves are incredible and I am happy she took this moment to not go crazy but be sophisticated. Even though she looks a little like Christmas Barbie- I like it.
ps personal prefernce- I wish she would put makeup on her tats. I know, I know- it’s a part of her. But like anything, there is a time and a place. Adam Levine kept his under his clothes.

Dress- Delicious
Hair- On point
Lipstick- Too dark for me.
The lipstick is the focal point vs the entire look. I wish it was about 3 shades lighter.
John- Looking handsome as always.

FINALLY!!!!!!!!! Girl on the one night where it mattered most…you nailed it. (I would have liked red nails but I’m just being picky now).

Body- BANGIN’!!!!!! I mean you just had a baby. Work! Now, I looked it up and supposedly the neckpiece is part of the dress. I don’t love the jeweled neckline. It seems distracting. I truly just want to look at her waist. #FingersCrossedWhenI’mAMom

Impressive Jen. Yep, she seems happy and has finally found her red carpet style to knock it out of the park.

Ok. Elie Saab is truly one of my favorite designers. He can do no wrong in my book. But for me, the is a little too much volume in a dress for a 45 year old woman to wear. I applaud the princess moment. I really do but I wish a layer or two of chiffon would have been removed.
Now her makeup is flawless. Why does Jenny from the Block never age? I mean DAMN! Love the eyes and lips.

What. is. happening. here?
Truly this dress is made for someone 60+. I picked a close up so you can see the draping of the fabric. I don’t understand. You are 37 years old and you aged yourself by decades.
No Ma’am.

Another Cinderella moment. I like the color on Felicity’s skin. Hmmmmm something about the neckline is off to me. I believe I want it to feel more like halter vs a neckpiece. Also bangs are very difficult to wear on the red carpet. They always look messy to me.
***
This dress seems soooooo dated I’m shocked she wore this. And if this dress WAS worn she need to slick her hair back to make it more fashion forward.
***
YUMMMMMMMM!!!!!! This color is breathtaking on Emma Stone. She truly has become a fashion darling. Wow. Only she could pull off this color.

Again I can’t talk about her outfit because I am distracted by her hair color. It is too golden for her skin color. It looks like doll hair.
***
WHAT IS THE
??? WHAT IN THE????
Ya’ll this doesn’t even match!!!!!!!! Huh? A random red sash? I hate it.
Disco Costume Gone Wrong.

Look at this face. I mean…..Sienna Miller is beyond exquisite.

I just wanted to run up and put a bobby pin in her bangs. #TooMuch

Jennifer Hudson keeps looking better and better. I love me some yellow on the red carpet!

Ahhhh man. You could write down a list of people to thank as you win your Oscar but you can’t hire a hairstylist.
#STYLE TIP: Messy hair doesn’t do well on a red carpet.
***
Yay for red! Again, bangs makes me crazy. I wish she had slicked them to the side.
***
#STYLETIP: If you want to look 15+ lbs heavier on the red carpet….put your hands in your pockets.
***
You know what….I like this! It feels very editorial, whimsical, budding mother. Bravo!
***
One of the stunners of the night! This hair is EXCELLENT on you. Lord knows I’m the biggest Tim & Faith fan and once again they prove why they are County Music Royalty!

I can stare at your face all day long. To me, Lupita is a modern-day Josephine Baker. All pearl dress. I die. You are becoming fashion royalty.
