I couldn’t be happier because my lovely mother is in town this week! Since I have her all to my myself I thought it would be fun for us to test some beauty products together! I was lucky enough to receive a bag of goodies from L’Oreal. The last few days I have been testing L’Oreal Paris Visible Lift Blur Collection.

I usually don’t wear foundation. I  feel it’s too heavy and I try to stick to my BB Creams, even when on- camera. I was SHOCKED at how light it was. This is a new patented opti-blur technology that diffuses light on skin for a soft-focus effect that immediately blurs the signs of aging. This is a GENIUS concept because makeup application is all about reflecting light to fake flawless skin. Why do you think highlighter on the cheekbones, down the bridge of the nose and cupids bow is a must on every celeb! Experts know reflecting lights is key! I know I don’t have wrinkles yet but I want to have stunningly perfect skin.  I was pleasantly surprised by how long the coverage lasted + they had the perfect skin color for me. I always have problems finding the right color and was thrilled that 1 of the 12 matches beautifully! Add SPF 18 and it’s a win win.

Next I have been trying out the L’Oreal Paris Visible Lift Blur Blush. It is a creme that is sheer but bright! I was amazed at the small amount used to see a lovely cheek color. (Seriously you only need 2 drops). There are 3 colors to choose from: soft peach, soft pink and soft berry. I never have had luck with creme blushes because my skin seems to eat up the color. I must say within 8 hours I only had to reapply 1x more time. For me that is a HUGE. Normally I would have to reapply every hourly.

I am really impressed with both items. Since my Smashbox BB cream is normally $44 and this foundation is $15,  I am ready to give this product a good chance. I also love the thought of my blush not breaking in my bag with a creme blush. This one is only $13. I am impressed with both of these L’Oreal Paris Visible Lift Blur items. * I am not getting paid for this endorsement.
