I haven’t covered an Awards Show in a while and I. am. excited! Since I want to cover a lot of celebrities (31 to be exact), I’m going to write shorter commentary. As always, this is my opinion. Feel free to agree or disagree. That’s what makes fashion so fun…it’s all subjective. Ok let the style games begin!!!!
***
First let me start with perfection.
STOP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I DIE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I CAN’T BREATHE!!!!!!!!!!!! I AM HAVING A MOMENT. OR FOUR. YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!
***
Dress = Yummy and delicious
Hair and makeup look sloppy to me. I would have loved some pewter shoes to match Allison’s accessories.
***
Well look at you Glamour Girl! I want to wear this every night to bed. Bravo Amy!
***
This is sophistication at it’s best. Flawlessly altered. Perfect color and age appropriate. I ADORE this look!
***
Claire. Serious Question. How come your dresses are NEVER fitted properly. I always want to take in the waist 2 inches. Beautiful color but please find an alterations person who you can rely on.
***
Aren’t you an adorable little mama. I love that Hayden still took a risk with a deep V (yes there is mesh keeping those puppies in.) I say Work It Mama! You look fantastic!
***
My ONLY complaint is your skin is too tan. Did I, Emily Loftiss, just say that?!!? I love a sun goddess but it is blending into your hair into your dress. But the color and fit of this dress is divine. I wish I could see your enormous emerald earrings more.
***
Julia Roberts. You never age. You’re legs are Barbie legs and your skin looks like you are 22 years old. Show us where the Fountain of Youth is. Perfect dress to be worn by a A list Movie Star to the Emmys.
***
Awwwww man. I couldn’t be happier with this sunshine yellow hue….but it looks off on you Kate. I would have dropped the capsleeves and made it into a mock turtleneck. The top says secretary and the skirt says Partyyyyyy.
***
HELLOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!! OHHHHHH YES. YES GIRL. I WANT THIS DRESS STAT! YOU EARN 4 STARS!
***
I’m sure many will have her in the Best Dressed Category. I would like to dress my dolls in this but the hair and makeup is underwhelming to me. I would have loved a hot pink lip and tousled updo. Pretty but not my favorite in the least.
***
Man. This dress on someone a little shorter would be stellar. I LOVE a gold metallic lame’ dress. But nothing else is working here. Sorry dear.
***
One word:
Steamer
***
That was fun. Another one word moment:
Hotcha
***
You two are becoming Red Carpet Royalty. Camailla looks like a true honest to God Princess.
***
Two beautiful Visions in White. Sometimes simplicity is best.
***
I am all about Michelle’s look. It feels very Resort ala Cannes. I would love to be yachting in this dress. How about you?
***
I was excited because a friend told me she Kerry was wearing Orange, my signature color. But this doesn’t work for me. It feels very VMAs, I’m trying to show you I’m still hot even though I just had a baby, to me.
***
I think this is your best Red Carpet look yet! I am a fan of the lightweight effortless fabric. This cut is beautiful and completely youthful. Hooray!
***
How close! The draping of this material was almost it! With a few minor tweeks this could have been a success in my book.
***
Did Keltie make my list because she is one of my besties? NO. This is seriously my favorite look on her thus far on the red carpet in her entire career. Obsessed with the lace detailing down the hips and the effortless hair. The illusion fabric and button detailing down the back is so sophicated and unexpected. #SoProud
***
I am a major Kaley fan. I think the dress is whimsical and lovely. I would have personally paired with nude heels. I wish the hair had been slicked down, Twiggy style with a hot pink lip. But overall 7 out of 10.
***
Lizzy
You. Nailed. It.
***
Hmmm this is a toughy. My fashion heart wants to worship this but it bothers me how much fabric is around her waist. It doesn’t flatter her figure but I do think this gown is a piece of art.
***
Now dresses that date these younger actresses. You are not in your 50s! Don’t dress like it!
***
Props for trying new things Lena but this is a Fashion Fail. The shirt doesn’t fit. If she had paired a pale pink tank with this tutu shirt I think it would have worked!
***
And let me end with this perfection.
Fresh. Fashion Forward. Orange. I’m in love.
***
There you go! What did you agree or disagree with me!!!/?!? Love to hear your feedback. As always make sure you follow me on Instagram and let me know what you want me to cover next! Have a Happy Week.
Oh heyyyyy Thursday is my birthday!
xxxx Love you All! xxx
Lizzy Caplan was absolutely stunning and one my favorites for the evening.
Keke Palmer was another favorite. That rich color and the cut of the gown is an absolute showstopper. How fitting that she’s about to headline CINDERELLA on Broadway — she absolutely was the belle of the ball on the Red Carpet.
Agreed!!!!! Both really showed up to play ball and get on that Best Dressed List!
So spot on. I fully joked last night that between her top knot crop top and orange skirt, sarah hyland must have hired you to style her.
I want your thoughts on Sarah Paulson, julie bowen, uzo aduba ooh and juliana Margulies and more. I ready for you to take over for rancic on the red carpet any day now!
Sarah Paulson- Mosquito net. Uncomfortable and strange
Uzo Aduba Ohh- A for effort! Hated the ruffle on the back. Looked like it was trailing from her butt. #notcute
Juliana Margulies- Underwhelming. Needed more spark. I hate black and grey together!
Thank you for being so supportive love!!!!!! I can’t wait to talk fashion and beauty on tv daily . MANIFEST! xxxx
Sooo,,,, I agreed with everything you noted. You are in charge woman!
Thanks lady!!!!!! So happy you agree! xxxxx
