Loftiss says “The Art of Dining” at South Coast Plaza

I am so fortunate to have become fast friends with the folks at South Coast Plaza. Last Saturday I had the privilege of attending the Orange County Museum of Art’s Annual fundraiser presented by Louis Vuitton. “The Art of Dining” Event is THE most sought-after social event in Orange County that was held on the Bridge of Gardens at South Coast Plaza. This was the first EVER event held on this stunning structure soaring above the city.

The night began with a champagne reception at the Louis Vuitton store proceeding to the Garden Terrace for cocktails and hor d’oeuvres. At that moment we celebrated artist Diana Thater and the late philanthropist Gerald Buck. Next dinner was served on the “permanent art installation ” the Bridge of Gardens. I can’t tell you how beautiful the atmosphere was…fabulous food, new friends and a cool summer breeze. Truly magical. The evening continued into a fabulous after-party that continued late into the night.

It was truly my favorite event I’ve been to in the OC. I would be no where in my life if it wasn’t for the arts. From a professional dance career to the world of Fashion and Beauty- art is my life. I was thrilled to participate into an event that benefited OCMA’s exhibitions and award-winning education programs where 6,000 Orange County students experience special gallery tours and innovative, hands on art activities.
