I had the best time on Valentine’s Day playing with Tara the lead makeup artist at Makeup Forever in South Coast Plaza, Costa Mesa. We gabbed about products, beauty tricks, different celeb’s makeup and everything else beauty related under the sun. Here’s a quick list of things I feel all my readers can benefit from!
#1. Primer
Ya’ll it really is necessary. I know it might seem from the outside it’s a waste of time or money but rest assured…it’s worth every penny. It gives your skin that perfect surface so you can have flawless application. Check out what MF’s primers can do:

#2 BEAUTY TIP FOR UNDER-EYES!
While applying my makeup I realized she didn’t put foundation near my under eyes. I asked her what was the method behind the madness. She explained if you want to have lighter makeup under your eyes why would you put on dark foundation/bb cream then add ON TOP of that lighter color. It defeats the purpose. The skin under your eyes is the thinnest part of your skin…the more makeup you cake on…the more likely you are to create wrinkles. #MINDBLOWN

#3. HIGH DEFINITION FOUNDATION
This foundation creates a soft-focus effect, which is designed to meet the coverage concerns of those in the spotlight. It leaves your complexion with such a flawless finish. So you are thinking okkkkkk…I’m not on camera why do I need this?!?! You still go outside right? You still have lunch with friends outdoors and don’t want to look cakey. This is made to withstand bright or harsh lighting. Boom.
Pssst it comes in HD foundation comes in 26 shades to suit all skintones.

It’s all about the fairy dust also known as Star Powder. This magical pigment is perfect to add to almost any part of your makeup. Use a damp brush to increase shine and hold. You can also dab a small amount on the areas of the face that need highlighting: around the eyes, on the cheekbones, and over lipstick. {I suggest #940 for Victoria Secret worthy highlight for cheekbones!
