Red Carpet

Loftiss says “SAG Awards Hit & Misses!!!!!”

Now friends we have we’ve made it to the SAG Awards!!!!! One more red carpet down and then we have the Grammys and the Oscars!!!! I did an extensive review of looks from the SAG Awards and can’t wait to hear what we agree and disagree on.

MICHELLE WILLIAMS-Valentino

What a way to start the Red Carpet- a pretty red lace frock. The matchy matchy shoes don’t even bother me. This is light years better than what she was wearing at the Golden Globes! Congrats.

EMMA STONE -McQueen

Now I really wanted to like this dress. I love the thought of it….tea length black strapless dress with a red lip. Instead it looks depressing. I’m sure people will love this look but it just doesn’t work for me.

MERYLL STREEP- Vivienne Westwood

Wow. I really hate this. I LIVE for Meryll but this drap dress with the mulit-holed belt looks like she’s going to lunch on the Upper West side instead of going to a super glamourous Awards Ceremony. Different belt and bright color fabric would have saved this look.

MAYA RUDOLPH

Come on…please try. Awful.

JESSICA CHASTAIN

I knew this was a Calvin Klein dress the second she stepped on the carpet. I love the simple sillohuette and the color is breathtaking on her. I would have enjoyed a pop of color with a bracelt or clutch. Still classy, chic and effortless.

EMILY BLUNT -Oscar De La Renta

I DIE!!!! This is not only one of my favorite colors but it looks incredible on skin with her dark hair. She is definitely at the top of my Best Dressed List! WHAT A BREATH OF FRESH AIR!

KALEY CUOCO

I would be a fan of this dress if she was competing for Teen Miss GA. For a younger starlet it would be perfect. For Kaley I think it makes her look too much like a Disney Princess. I really like the braided headband- I just wish it was a shade or two closer to her natural hair color.

Julianna Margulies- CALVIN KLEIN

Doesn’t this remind of you of the dress Jessica Alba wore a few weeks ago to the Golden Globes? I’d be mad at your stylist honey.

See?

LEA MICHELLE -Versace

I adore this dress but it works so much better on the model. I think this dress requires height. It makes her look stumpy.

VIOLA DAVIS -Marchesa

WOW!!!!!! THIS IS A HOMERUN!!!!

Viola you are remarkable! The white looks incredible on your skin. The gold accents makes your waist look teeny tiny and the neckline is the perfect strapless shape. Add the body bling shimmer, the effortless curls and gold eyeshadow I am obsessed…..sigh

ASHLEE SIMPSON

I am surprisingly happy with her Old Hollywood look. Upgrade!

KRISTEN WIGG

No. No. NOOOOOO!!!!! A CHOKER!!! WHAT!!! WHO LET THIS HAPPEN????

ANGELINA JOLIE- Jenny Packman

This is common Angelina. Sex kitten black dress, smokey eyes and blown back hair. This is her signature look. I personally like seeing her in color but she knows what works on her and she is ALWAYS on my best dressed list.

ZOE SALDANA -Givency

This look confuses me. I’ve probably looked at 20 pictures of it. I want to like it but for some reason something isn’t working for me. It might be the embellished neckline….something about the sheer fabic and the tank dress underneath. I know it is highfashion but I just don’t 100% love it.

SHAILENE WOODLEY- L’Wren

This is not good. Nope not at all. The print looks too informal like she’s going to a luau. Like you would throw on flipflops and go to a bondfire on the beach.

SOFIA VERAGA-Marchesa

Sofia is just like Angelina. She has a formula. Tight fitted dresses that she pours herself into. But you know what this formula gets her on the Best Dressed List everytime. She isn’t afraid to wear showstopping colors and show off that incredible body!

NATALIE PORTMAN- Giambattista Valli

Another look that works better on the Runway then on the Red Carpet. Natalie you had the BEST clothes last season when you were nominated. Did you just skip on the sylist and put that money on a stroller? PULL UP LADY!

ROSE BYRNE -Ellie Saab

I LOVE THIS FASHION RISK!!!! I did a cartwheel when I saw this jumpsuit on the carpet! YES!!!! I want it!!!! Completely Fabulous!

Love to hear your thought on what you say last night!!!! And as always follow me on Facebook and Twitter!
