I had the pleasure of emceeing a live event for NBCU (NBC Universal) last week in the HEART of Times Square. This three day event was the Go Healthy Step-a-thon promoting healthiness in America. There was an incredible stair installation build on Broadway and 42nd street inviting people to walk the stairs. The stairs had sensors in them counting each and every step with the final goal being 1 million steps.
I had the time of my life playing “Minute to Win It” games with the audience, interviewing celebs, tourists and locals. I was given the opportunity to raise money for an amazing cause, all proceeds went to The American Cancer Society, while creating a raucous on 42nd!!!!!! How I was allowed to have a microphone in the middle of Times Square, I’ll never know!!!!!! I’m proud to announce we reached 1 million steps at 5:30 pm on the final day. Here’s a look into the amazing event…

Remember every little step brings you closer to a healthy you!
