Ohhh award season you make my heart flutter!!!!!! As always I picked my favorite looks to post. But I’ve also decided to pick the ones that almost got it right too. This way you’ll learn how to dress yourself even better. Some of the times it’s as simple as changing your jewelry or switching up your makeup. Now you can learn how to make your own outfits turn from an almost into a dynamite.
LET CLASS BEGIN!!!!!
JULIE BOWEN- MALANDRINO
AHHHHHHH I’M IN LOVE!!!!!!!! A jumpsuit is so chic. I am obsessed with the entire look. Hair and make-up is simple and not overdone.
EVA LONGORIA- GEORGE HOBEIKA
I do not like this dress for Eva. It doesn’t fit well in the bust and color makes her look drape. If she had gotten it altered and been a vibrant color like yellow or hot pink this would have been a show stopper.
MILA KUNIS- ALEXANDER MCQUEEN
This might be my #1 FAVORITE look of the evening. It looks fresh with the water color pattern, the sweetheart neckline and belt brings everything together. LOVE!!!!!
KIM KARDASHIAN-MARCHESA
Ummmm is this a joke? Kim you are a fashion icon!!!! How did you leave the house wearing this? It makes her breasts look saggy, her waist look thick and short and her hair looks messy…. I’m so confused. Please burn this dress and I expect more from you in the future.
AMBER RILEY- ANN BARGE
YES! YES! YES! YES!!!!! AMBER LOOKS GORGEOUS!!!! AAAAHHHHHH I HAVE TO TYPE IN UPPERCASE BECAUSE I’M SO EXCITED. SLAM DUNK LADY!!!!!
LEA MICHELE-OSCAR DE LA RENTA
Dress= lovely
Fit= excellent
Hair= would like to see it up
Make-Up= red lipstick would have been flawless
DIANE AGRON-CHANEL
This dress looks too old for her. It reminds me of ballroom dancing class when you have to dress “age appropriate” and you despise every minute it. If it was shorted to above the knees with nude heels, a high ponytail and swept bangs with a bright lipstick it would have been great. Navy is just a hard color to pull off and then add that awkward length and I’m sad to say…this doesn’t work for me.
NATALIE PORTMAN- AZZARO
NOW THIS IS HOW YOU DO RED CARPET WITH A BUN IN THE OVEN!!!!!
Completely breathtaking.
Completely perfect.
CLAIRE DAINES- LOUIS VUITTON
Hmmmm Claire and her patterns. I’m so distracted by that terrible, too long belt that I can’t focus on anything else. This dress isn’t my favorite. Reminds me of curtains. It just doesn’t look red carpet worthy….
SOFIA VERGARA- ROBERTO CAVALLI
You know Sofia can’t do wrong in my book…whoever styles her is a genius. Cavalli knows how to dress sexy a woman and this dress fits her like a glove. Perfection.
JANE LYNCH- ALI RAHIMI
What in the world is happening?!!?!?!?! This dress is completely wrong for Jane. That pouf around her hips isn’t flattering and makes her look like she is playing tea party with 5 year olds. It looks like it should be on “Toddlers and Tiaras” not the SAG Awards. She should have worn the pantsuit from above. (*But lavender does look beautiful with her skin tone. But that’s about it.)
CHRISTINA HENDRICKS-L’WREN SCOTT
This look is stunning. I love long sleeves on the red carpet if the proportions of the dress is correct. She looks completely sexy. A+
NICOLE KIDMAN-NINA RICCI
She looks like Mortica. Messy hair, odd placed lace. This is NOT good look for you.
WINONA RYDER- ALBERTA FERRETTI
Wow. Winona I know it’s been a while since you’ve been on the red carpet but this is unacceptable. The dress is BEAUTIFUL and fits well but the color is all wrong. And then the dark accessories makes this look Gothic. And I would have loved to see her hair down and parted to the side, very slick and smooth. Get some help and I hope you look better at the Oscars. I’ll cross my fingers for you.
JAYMA MAYS-JENNY PACKHAM
I really enjoy this dress but I’m distracted by the shoes. Nude would have been ideal. But good job on the color + her red hair.
HELENA BONHAM CARTER- MARC JACOBS
Now I just adore Helena. She’s crazy and doesn’t make any excuses for it. The dress if fantastic but the pearl choker and old prom hair doesn’t help this look. But from neck down= excellent.
