Everyone who knows me understands that country music holds a special place in my heart. And a country music awards show is like the Miss America Pageant for me! Country music and fashion…YES PLEASE!!! Last night was the 44th Annual CMA Awards. Here are my favorite looks of the night.
Miranda Lambert and Blake Shelton This couple looks gorgeous. This berry color is perfect on her skin and with the open neckline and hair pulled back… complete success. Blake looks extremely handsome himself. Congrats to both of them for winning last night!
Taylor Swift: MONIQUE LHUILLIER I love Taylor in red. It’s just her color. This dress is sexy but not too over the top for her age. As always, she is a red carpet hit!
Nicole Kidman: DOLCE AND GABBANA I love the choice of white. And white lace too! Sadly I think the shoes take away attention from her dress.
Lady Antebellum These three look ravishing. I love every single thing about their looks. Bravo!
Martina McBride A short metallic mini dress is always a brilliant choice!
LeAnn Rimes: PORTS 1961 Ports 1961 is one of my favorite designers. I love the detailing in the neckline. It’s art. Not a huge fan of her lip color…would have preferred a more plum color.
Julianna Hough: GEORGE CHAKRA COUTRE GORGEOUS!!!! I didn’t recognize Julianna with the brown hair but I know she is filming FOOTLOOSE right now. This is how you rock a couture dress.
Laura Bell Bundy: JEAN FARES COUTURE I love this dress on her. It sparkled so beautifully and the color is lovely with her skin. Could this dress fit any more perfectly?
Gwyneth Palthrow: VERSACE All eyes were on Gwyneth last night with her performance. But she started the night off right looking like a absolute movie star. From the water color fabric to the side cut out to the slit….delicious.
*Carrie Underwood was one of the co-hosts and had numerous changes throughout the night. These are my favorites.
Congrats to all the winners and thank you for a great night of talent!!!!
